Here is a little bit about my story and how my broken image of God was being healed and matured (i.e. becoming healthier) by the Holy Spirit. There is a lot in here about getting accusation, rejection and shame out of my image of God and growing to see more of His goodness. Take a quick look at 3 situations as Jesus relates to the disciples during their failures and sins. You will encounter hope as you see His goodness.
The disciples are really sinning, arguing about Who Is the Greatest. Look at Jesus' excellent response!
Volume 1 Day 1.
It's a great place to start just seeing how confused the disciples were by Jesus. It gives me a lot of room to breathe with God! And Jesus' response convinces me that God will respond as patiently as Jesus did!
Volume 1 Day 3.
James and John continue the argument about "Who Is the Greatest" by making a power play for the left and right of Jesus' throne. Check out Jesus' good response.
Volume 1 Day 4.
Peter Sinks On The Water. What's Jesus' Response? He immediately grabs Peter's hand and rescues him!

It just good old fashioned doubt and unbelief! And it is great to see this failure right from one of the 12 disciples - because we all wrestle with doubt and unbelief. However, it's even better to see Jesus good response to Thomas and all the other when they fail to believe the women who tell the that Jesus has come back to life!
Volume 1 Day 8.
James & John want to destroy a village with a lightening bolt. How does Jesus respond? He corrects and disciplines them but without rejection!
Volume 1 Day 9.
Peter takes the attention off Jesus, Moses & Elijah and gets it all on himself! The Father Himself interacts with Peter in a good and rich way! Learn more about Jesus' life and how Jesus interacted with the disciples.
Volume 1 Day 10.
Jesus is asleep in the boat and a furious storm is about to drown them all. The disciples are terrified. Look at Jesus' response. Learn more about Jesus' relationship with the disciples.
Volume 1 Day 11.
Peter wants to take control of the movement and ends up rebuking Jesus and telling Him what to do. Watch the master in action! Learn more about Jesus' compassion, Jesus' humility and how Jesus was as a person.
Volume 1 Day 12.
It's the last night before Jesus dies, He gives them communion and what happens? The Disciples start arguing about which of them is the greatest once AGAIN! But watch Jesus' ultimate response!
Volume 1 Day 13.
Peter is absolutely convinced that He is better than the other disciples. Jesus predicts a great fall, but Peter won't believe it. Jesus doesn't accuse him, rejects him or shame him. But Jesus does patiently bear with Peter to get him through epic failure.
Volume 1 Day 14.
Peter, James and John blow it again and fail Jesus when He needs them most. The pressure on Jesus is beyond what we can understand but even then He doesn't have a melt down but patiently instructs and challenges the disciples!
Volume 1 Day 15.
This one is absolutely EPIC! This is such a deep dive into Jesus' amazing goodness right during Peter's vast failure and sin. You will deeply enjoy seeing how Jesus builds hope into Peter before his climatic fall!
Volume 1 Day 16.
Person after person has said, "I never saw this" relative to Jesus wonderful care and concern for Peter after failing the Master so radically and so deeply. I think this will greatly warm your heart and encourage you for life!
